Ron Lynch, professional speaker

Ron Lynch has sold more than $2 billion in consumer products and launched roughly 30 brands, and he got there by way of Hollywood. A Screen Actors Guild member, he acted in Robert Altman's The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, Waiting for the Light with Shirley MacLaine, and Dogfight with River Phoenix, then moved behind the camera to write and direct hundreds of hours of television and commercials. That combination of story and sales defined his career in direct-response marketing. A former partner in Cesari Direct Television, he played a significant role in the Orange Glo and OxiClean campaigns of the Billy Mays era, created the marketing strategy for Samsung's robotic vacuums, and helped shape GoPro's early user-generated consumer marketing. His brand work also includes Johnson & Johnson, Rug Doctor, Hunter Fan, Eagle One, Space Bag, BackJoy and NuvoH2O. In 2012 he founded Big Baby Agency, a creative strategy firm for product launches and direct-to-consumer brands, and later Stage 22 Productions. He created the Marketing Mercenary business education program, co-authored Buy Now: Creative Marketing That Gets Your Product Sold, and wrote the business fable It's A Circus Out There. In 2020 he founded Intellihelp, a peer-to-peer relief network that connected people facing food insecurity during the pandemic with nearby volunteers. Four times a millionaire, and candid about the losses in between, Ron speaks on the idea that ties it all together: in the age of AI, the most valuable asset is a person who can connect disciplines others see as separate. He lives in the Central Texas Hill Country with his wife, Colleen.
